Description:

Holy Orders are easier to make. Can be made by counts and multiple by the same ruler.
Holy Orders are more numerous.
Holy orders can be set up in all types of holding, however you can’t set them up in temple/church holdings if your faith doesn’t have lay clergy (it will say that you can at first, then that you can’t. I’m not sure if it let me spend the gold and piety when playtesting but if so it didn’t let me keep the holding, so be careful). This includes setting up *tribal holy orders*, aka *ooga booga time.*

May the faithful emerge victorious – no, literally, holy wars are now far more likely to be decided by who has more piety.

Obvious Cheese:
Holy orders are summoned to your main army gathering point instantly when called upon. It’s very easy to cheese this by moving your main army gathering point right up to the border and instantly summoning an army capable of winning you the entire war right then and there. You can basically make them appear instantly anywhere in your territory you need them, so this is perfectly balanced as all things should be.
If your goal in life is to deny the weapon its true purpose, then move your main rally point to the Holy Order’s homebase then raise them then move your rally point to wherever you want it to simulate the Holy Order having to travel to the location. If you’re hiring a holy order from out of your territory and wish to shackle your ankles to a big steel ball holding you back from glorious *balance*, put the rally point in the nearest part within your country to the HO homebase then raise them.
This is of course optional and entirely about how you use the tools available to you in the game, just ideas of how I’d do it if I either sought to cheese or to self-limit.

Compatability:
Overwrites barony_is_valid_for_holy_order_lease_trigger so that tribes and temples can be used. Overwrites the decisions in 00_holy_order_decisions with a file called 01_holy_order_decisions, although only the first decision which lets you start holy orders is actually changed.
Given that messing with holy orders isn’t exactly a staple of modding, this should be fine. More likely to lag the game because you made 400 holy orders and keep setting them up in the territories you keep conquering off those filthy infidels.

Recommended alongside:

Neighbours Defend Against Holy Wars: allies of the defender can call on their holy orders for free. Turns holy wars into massive conflicts.

Some Game Rules – Core: Lets you adjust how much calling on Holy Orders costs. Keep in mind that holy order patrons can still call on their holy orders for free so long as they’re in a holy war.

Either Build More Tribal Holdings *OR* Tribalism Beyond. Both let you build tribal settlements in empty areas when playing tribal, and then this mod lets you set up holy orders in those tribes, difference between the two mods being that Tribalism Beyond also lets you upgrade tribal buildings to level 4 and so may be preferable if you want to make super powerful tribal holy orders. Tribalism beyond’s page has links to some other mods you might like if making OP holy orders is the goal.
