ÖBB modular car
From 1994 the Austrian Federal Railways procured 60 second-class Bmpz 20-94 large-capacity side cars, the so-called modular cars. Modular cars, they were called because it was planned to use the same car body for different facilities. The wagons had a wider body with sloping side walls, so they are not RIC-compliant and were only allowed to operate in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
