Optimal garrisons – use the best units in sieges!
This mod ensures fair individual priority to all garrison units in the game.
It impacts situations where garrisons have more than 20 units and decides, based on units usefulness and power in siege, which one will be in garrison, and who will be out.
It uses basic priority table by C.A. as footprint and carefully fixes that low quality vanilla priority table unit by unit. For hundreds of them.
They (C.A.) gave most cavalry, chariots and artillery very low priorities for the most part. But just forgot some other units in these categories.
For example, in vanilla C.A. table, dragon princes are more elite garrison unit than phoenix guards or waywatchers.
But demigryph knights and blood knights were worse than skaven slaves and zombies.
In this mod every single unit in the game who can garrison was looked at and received fair and deserved priority.
Some inside on general priority considering usefulness vs A.I. on walls and in narrow streets with little to no space for maneuvers.
Basic direction set from the top priority to the last priority. But with every single unit having its own set priority according to its unique combat potential.
