Far Warcry
Revisited in 2023 because I finally got mad enough about things that I didn’t like not working.
If I get sued, this is canon.
Some say the worst happens in the archipelago in the middle of the ocean. Somewhere where no eyes can see the truth. Others are sober enough to not talk about that. But none of them know the truth. And the truth is… Well, its somewhere deeper in the archipelago. What we DO know is that just on the border Raven have decided to get their hands on the remnants of once great artillery fort. They have already moved in and managed to setup some defences in there. No-no, they haven’t managed to get rusted cannons to work again, bless your souls. But don’t expect this to be an easy fight.
Intelligence confirms they have moved out for another resupply and took the last helicopter with them. Only left a handful of soldiers defending this monstrossity, they surely don’t expect us to try and reestablish our rights on that part of the archipelago. Intel also mentioned strange amount of requested bananas… Probably just an error. Probably…
Reverse Mode lore
We did it! We managed to wear them down in a good old battle! But we still have to be cautious about the ones, who will return with new ammunition reserves and even better weaponry. Atleast their helicopters should not be present, as they will surely run out of fuel. They already recieved the messages about our little "surprise attack" and won’t land on the fort. They will try to approach it from the ground instead.

*Middle of the night*
"Hey? You hear me? Darn it, come in! Come in, Talon team!.. Garbage equipment… We can’t hear you, but if you do, you have to exfiltrate immediately! Infiltration aborted, I repeat, infiltration aborted! We are recieving dozens of disstress signals from other teams in the archipelago. Something really bad is going on here! However, we still have one last thing to ask of you – we can not, I repeat, can not pick you up while there is a chance they can put down our aircraft. Get rid of their ammo depot and, if the situation calls for it, dispatch enemy forces in the fort. This is hard work, I know, but whatever the hell has obliterated several other teams… We have the reason to think you are next, Talon team."
End of SPEC-OPS LORE
Alright, what’s this map and why has it gotten such a catchy name, m? Well, while creating it I was trying to catch that same feeling that the general visuals in Far Cry, the game of my (kinda) childhood, were creating. Double rope bridges, islands, but more importantly whatever the hell this fortress of a building is. I tried to combine the remnants of the once great fort with modern details, just brought by mercs to it. And some weird details that may tell there is more hiding behind that grey armor of a fort.
No palms because f*ck LOD on these things 🙁
Recommended gamemodes:
-Literally anything except domination, let this gamemode burn in hell.
-Recommended amount of bots?
-From 40 to 50. Too many and the game becomes a meatgrinder sim.

-Man, I can’t capture anything but the "Pillbox" 🙁
-Capturing fort flags is really hard, but entierly possible. Try to capture bunker closer to an actual wide bridge first, its quite easy to steal it.
-I barely can see the cool fort thing, I get killed there :((
-Set up a match in "Reverse Mode" on that map. Defend the fort from ravens. "Its all canon btw."
-Laggy? I have a potato computer…
-Nope! Runs smooth as a silk on my laptop, and it has no graphics memory. Also made sure it looks good on lowest settings as well.
