Pet Food Canning Factory
You don’t know what to do with all that Foul Raw Meat, or those Severed Limbs ?
This mod brings food preservation to the world of Kenshi. Turn Foul Raw Meat into tincans, that will feed your pets and people alike.
Watch tincans being filled with meat and transported on conveyor belts in this fully animated work station.
An all-in-one meat grinder, metal bender and canning station, the Pet Food Canning Factory will stop Foul Raw Meat from rotting and make it suitable for later consumption.
Thanks to the addition of flavourings, and a special effort from the marketing department, all races will actually eat Pet Food. Stuff it in your backpack before you start an expedition, or sell it to the wandering merchants for extra cats. It’s becoming a cheap, mainstream survival food.
The Pet Food Canning Factory comes in two variants. One will produce Pet Food from Foul Raw Meat and Iron Plates, and is fully automated. The second one will use severed limbs instead of Foul Raw Meat. You need to pick a recipe from the list, and production won’t be automated.
In order to build either of these stations, you need to unlock a level 3 research project called Food Preservation. The research costs 1 Ancient Science Book. To build the machinery you need 6 Iron Plates and 2 Electrical Components, and it will drain 20 power from the grid when being used.
The adorable dog on the tincan is called Gyp and he lives in Wales. You can shower him with love in the comments.
