Phibun saw the monument as the focal point of what he envisaged as a new, Westernized Bangkok, "making Thanon [road] Ratchadamnoen the Champs-Élysées and the Democracy Monument the Arc de Triomphe" of Bangkok. Angkor Wat Exploration

This mod introduced mechanism to discover Angkor Wat instead of its default existance since the beginning of the game. Angkor Wat was built in the early 12th century but its location was lost throughout the time. In 1860, with the help of French missionary Father Charles-Émile Bouillevaux, the temple was effectively rediscovered by the French naturalist and explorer Henri Mouhot, who popularised the site in the West through the publication of travel notes.

To added more flavor and small historical accuracy to the game, there is a decision to discover Angkor Wat when you have Cambodia state as a part of your country. This decision also require "Civilizing Mission" technology, 1000 bureaucracy for 12 months, and player to be at peace at the time of decision activation.

Potential Incompatibility
