they just both named Type 90
MBT2000 develops from Chinese Type90-II , and there are 4 plans about it. This one is the second plan with Britain engine and French transmission. However finally people choose the third plan because Pakistan army purchase T80UD , which use 6TD engine.
this one seems has same engine with Challenger1
