Japan Government Railway 4-6-2 Class 8900 Steam Locomotive
—–Breif history of Steam Locomotives Class 8900—–
These locomotives were built in 1911 by American Locomotive Company.
Initially Japan wanted ALCO to make 4-6-0 type, but ALCO suggest 4-6-2 for increasing power.
Some of Japanese engineer accept that suggestion and class 8900 became first "Pacific" locomotive in Japan.
Though class 8900 isn’t remain longer, base design were used Japanese locomotives after it.
In that means, this locomotive was great locomotive.
