Hello, I’ｍ Gombe. I’ve created a sunrise express.
Series 285 Sunrise Seto / Izumo
The sleeping car trains "Izumo Express" and "Seto Express", which had previously operated between Tokyo and western Japan. In 1998, the new "Sunrise Express" were put into service due to the aging of them. In 2016, Cassiopeia Express retired from regular service, then it is the only night and sleeping car train in Japan.
Sunrise without logo
Around 2018, Sunrise trains without the front logo were spotted in various locations along the line. Apparently, after a through-door was damaged in a personal injury accident, the train was operated on a temporary basis until it was inspected.
