Daphne & Apollo Hypercoaster
Climb aboard the sun god Apollo’s chariot as he pursues his unrequited love Daphne all over Ancient Greece. Legend has it the virtuous Daphne prayed to her father, the river god, who took pity on his daughter and changed the water nymph into the laurel tree standing out front the temple. This hyper coaster rises over 200 feet from the acropolis below and soars over Mount Olympus, the Parthenon, Daphne’s Orchid and Apollo’s Amphitheatre before descending into the Underworld for an encounter with Cerberus, the three headed dog guarding the River Styx.
