Permanent Lost Curse!
The white fire mechanic was an interesting addition to Repentance, not only because of the Knife Piece, but also because touching the white fire allows you to cheese things like curse rooms, spiked chest, get consumables over pits and rocks for free etc. However, you always had to backtrack to the white fire to touch it again and to use its benefits, since the effect resets every time you clear a room. Say "no more" to that b.s. with this mod!
Hold down the map or drop button while touching the fire to gain the lost curse effect permanently for the whole floor, without it resetting on every room clear.
The effect will also persist on the next floor, but only until you clear one room, just like it’d do normally.
The effect resets when you enter a Devil room for the first time so you can’t cheese devil deals that way!
Let me know if it doesn’t work with the controller or it breaks something else, I made this mod in less than an hour, just like my any other mod lol.
