Description:

A simple base building mod.

This mod includes all the items from Simple Roof mod and also adds a wall, half wall, half pillar, door, gate, window and staircase. The door and gate are lockable with vanilla 3-pin and 4-pin combination locks and will also work with Code Lock mod.

SNAPPING

Press K to focus on an object.
Press F to cycle through the snap points.
Press B to toggle snapping.

CRAFTING:

SIMPLE WALL KIT: 10 planks and 30 nails.
SIMPLE HALF WALL KIT: 5 planks and 15 nails.
SIMPLE WINDOW KIT: 10 planks and 2 metal hinges.
SIMPLE DOOR KIT: 10 planks and 2 metal hinges.
SIMPLE GATE KIT: 10 planks and 4 metal hinges.
SIMPLE FLOOR KIT: 10 planks and 30 nails.
SIMPLE ROOF KIT: 10 planks and 30 nails.
SIMPLE WOOD PILLAR KIT: 1 log and 10 nails.
SIMPLE HALF PILLAR KIT (x2): 1 log and 10 nails.
SIMPLE STAIRCASE KIT: 1 staircase attachment and 1 simple floor kit.
SIMPLE STAIRCASE ATTACHMENT: 10 planks and 10 wall brackets.

*NOTE: After placing a kit, you need to build the part with a hammer or hatchet.

REINFORCEMENTS / ATTACHMENTS:

Parts can be upgraded with reinforcements to add an extra layer of defense. Barbed wire, camonets, flashlights and xmas lights can also be attached to certain parts.

WALL:
Log Wall Reinforcements = 2 logs and 20 nails.
Metal Wall Reinforcements = 6 sheet metal and 40 nails.
Attachments = Camonet / Barbed wire / Flashlight / Xmas lights.
HALF WALL:
Log Wall Reinforcements = 1 log and 10 nails.
Metal Wall Reinforcements = 3 sheet metal and 20 nails.
Attachments = Barbed wire / Flashlight / Xmas lights.
WINDOW FRAME:
Shutter = 6 planks and 10 nails.
Log Wall Reinforcements = 2 logs and 20 nails.
Metal Wall Reinforcements = 4 sheet metal and 30 nails.
Attachments = Camonet / Barbed wire / Flashlight / Xmas lights.
WINDOW:
Metal Shutter Reinforcements = 2 sheet metal and 20 nails.
Window Bars = 2 sheet metal and 20 nails.
DOOR FRAME:
Door = 6 planks and 10 nails.
Log Wall Reinforcements = 2 logs and 20 nails.
Metal Wall Reinforcements = 4 sheet metal and 30 nails.
Attachments = Camonet / Flashlight / Xmas lights.
DOOR:
Log Door Reinforcements = 1 log and 20 nails.
Metal Door Reinforcements = 2 sheet metal and 20 nails.
GATE FRAME:
Gate = 12 planks and 20 nails.
Attachments = Camonet.
GATE:
Log Gate Reinforcements = 2 logs and 40 nails.
Metal Gate Reinforcements = 6 sheet metal and 40 nails.
FLOOR:
No reinforcements.
Attachments = Camonet.
ROOF:
Metal Roof Reinforcements = 6 sheet metal and 40 nails.
Attachments = Camonet / Barbed wire(x2).

You get all the resources back if you dismantle the item.

The roof and floor can currently only be dismantled from inside the base, but all the other parts now have configurable raid times and tools inside SimpleBase_Settings.json.

BaseBuildingPlus

Server owner instructions:

1. Copy the @Simple Base folder from !Workshop to your DayZServer root folder.
2. Copy ChopperBase.bikey file from the keys folder to your keys folder.
3. Add "-mod=@Simple Base" to your server startup parameters.
4. Merge types.xml (and optionally TraderConfig.txt) with the file provided.
5. The mod will generate a SimpleBase folder inside your server profile folder.

*Inside the SimpleBase folder is a file named SimpleBase_Settings.json which contains some server options.
