東急7000系/7700系
東急７０００系は、1962年に登場した東急電鉄のフルステンレス通勤電車です。18mの車体に３つのドアからなり、日比谷線直通列車や田園都市線、目蒲線、池上線など幅広い活躍をしていました。
その後1991年以降にはVVVFインバーター制御に改造され、7700系と名前を改めたのち、2021年まで活躍しました。
現在でも様々な中小鉄道事業者においてその中古車が活躍しています。
The Tokyu 7000 series is a full stainless steel commuter train that was introduced in 1962 by the Tokyu Railway. It has a 18-meter body with three doors and was widely used on various lines, such as the Hibiya Line through-train, the Den-en-toshi Line, the Mizonokuchi Line, and the Ikegami Line.
After 1991, it was upgraded to VVVF inverter control and was renamed the 7700 series, which continued to be active until 2021. Even now, its used trains are still active in various small and medium-sized railway companies.
