TGV Réseau
    It’s still not over !Put into service from 1992 onwards with the opening of the LGV Nord, the TGV Réseau is a series of 80 trainsets ordered by the SNCF in the early 1990s from the manufacturer Alsthom and will be available in 2 types, the 500 dual-current and the 4500 three-current. These trainsets are directly derived from the TGV Atlantique, with a composition of 8 cars. The speed of these trainsets is pushed to 320 km/h in commercial service and their power reaches 8800 kW under 25kv and is lowered to 3680 kW under 1,5kv. These self-propelled railcars, known as ”Réseau”, have the particularity of being able to circulate on the entire French rail network. Externally, they are identical to the Atlantique trainsets, except that their composition is 8 cars. the two-current trains are numbered from 501 to 550, and the three-current trains are numbered from 4501 to 4530. Beyond 4530, we enter the very private circle of Thalys PBA. The Réseau trainsets have undergone two renovations during their career: One between 2005 and 2007 when they exchanged the Atlantique livery for the Lacroix livery, as well as a new interior design. A second renovation began in 2012 to revive the Carmillon livery.
