LDC Series9100 EMU
Description
The Series 9100 train of the Land Development Corporation (LDC) is an electric train that has been in operation since 1995. This train was owned by a government-operated company, which is rare for a company that is not part of the national railway system. The train’s distinctive features include cross-seating at the ends of the cars, despite being a subway through-service train, and innovative customer service facilities such as public telephones installed on cars 3 and 6. (The public telephones were removed in 1997.)
