Rise of Uesugi
Four new units for Uesugi.
All units are Uesugi exclusive, so if mod is active you can see them in game either by playing as Uesugi or meeting AI playing as Uesugi.

Temple Guard
- Unit class: Spear infantry
- Unit size: 160
- Requirements: Yari Master Dojo, Buddhist Monastery
- Abilities: Hold Firm, Warcry, Second Wind, Spear Square
- Recruitment limit: 5 units

Tetsubo Sohei
Unit of tetsubo warriors without armour. Such unit type has been made before but I went with my view of it and made this. As I read somewhere nodachi was used as anti-cavalry weapon so I went with presumption that tetsubo can be used for such thing as well and gave slight anti-cavalry bonus to this unit.

- Abilities: Banzai, Warcry
- Additional: Bonus against cavalry

Donderbuss Sohei
Slight modification of regular Matchlock Warrior Monks. Instead of regular gun this unit uses donderbuss. Slightly shorter range than regular gunpowder units but can compensate with increased range ability.

- Unit size: 120
- Requirements: Powder Maker, Buddhist Monastery
- Abilities: Range Increase

Peasant Zealots
Lightly armoured infantry armed with naginatas. As the name says are very "religious" and their morale is high that helps with holding lines for quiet some time. This is cheap unit that is supposed to help with Uesugi campaign at the beginning considering their difficult starting position and lack of funds in early game.

- Abilities: Rapid Advance
- Additional: High morale, Cheap
- Mod is save game compatible.
- Available for both, player and AI.
