Description:

Have you ever been annoyed by the default walking speed in Arma? Wanted to push a doorway but the walk is too slow? Tried to get the perfect angle on someone but the walk was too fast? Have no fear, Adjustable Walking Speed is here!

How does it work?

AWS speeds up the player’s animation to make them go faster or slower. Because of this, when you change the walking speed from default, you will be forced to walk, unless you return it back to normal.

AWS allows you to smoothly change your walking speed, similar to games like EFT, SWAT and ZeroHour.
You can change the speed down to 30% and up to 170%.
Decreasing your speed makes it harder for AI to hear you and vice versa.

Note:

A lot of people seem confused about speeds above 100% beings slower than 100%. This is not the case!!! The 100% value is relative to the vanilla walking, not running, which is apparently too hard to understand for some people.
Due to Arma limitations, at speeds different from 100% you will be FORCED TO WALK and only allowed to run when you’re back at 100%. STOP CONFUSING THE COMBAT RUN AND WALKING. I specifically chose these values to make the combat run faster than walking at maximum speed. This is because walking has a more steady weapon animation which makes it easier to aim, thus you trade speed for accuracy.

AWS uses the CBA Keybinds system. There are 5 different keybinds:

Action:
Default Key:
Increase Speed:
Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Up
Decrease Speed:
Ctrl + Mouse Wheel Down
Reset Speed:
Left Shift
Set Speed to Max:
N/A
Set Speed to Min:
N/A

Note: You are allowed to repack the mod.
