Fire Damage Rebalance
Should work on multiplayer.
Tested on build 41.
Can be added or removed mid-game.
Simply makes fire do 4 times more damage to zombies and 4 times less to players.
This feels much more fair, fun and realistic in my testing.
- Burning zombies still live long enough to walk quite a distance and spread fire around a lot.
- Players are still damaged quite a lot by fire but it isn’t as much of a death sentence in harder maps/modes.
I made this mostly to learn modding and to make the fire-heavy CDDA challenge less aggravating.
I know there is a great "Fire Resistance" mod by Tanuki available in the workshop but I didn’t want to change its setting every time I start the CDDA challenge.
Also, having a simple, set-in-stone setting for fire damage might be useful for some multiplayer servers who want to show more transparency/fairness in their mods list.
..or perhaps to have this as a standard (especially for the CDDA run where kiting zombies around the fire is ideal but tiring.)
