[WotC] ADVENT Unit Promotions
This mod serves as an example of what can be done with my newest Random Loadout Manager. It allows ADVENT soldiers to occasionally spawn with better loadouts. Perfect if you want some extra challenge without introducing new units or messing with mission data. Roughly 57% of ADVENT units you encounter in the field are the same as always (only Purifiers are adjusted to smooth out the progression). The others get upgraded to either veterans or elites. Veteran units carry stronger primary weapons in addition to receiving small bonuses to stats. Elite units are the ones to really watch out for as they gain even stronger bonuses and are allowed to use alien technology.
The mod does not override any vanilla configs or classes, but requires another mod that overrides the latter. Check its description for details.
