Man in the High Castle Mod
Hello and welcome to the Man in the High Castle mod. This mod adds some stuff you see in the Amazon Prime adaptation of the Philip K. ♥♥♥♥ book, The Man in the High Castle. If you haven’t heard of it, here’s a quick rundown: It’s basically a "what if the Axis won World War 2?" scenario. It started with Giuseppe Zangara successfully assassinating FDR in 1933, so the US stayed neutral in WW2. Then Germany created the A-Bomb first and dropped it on DC on December 11, 1945, and then both Japan and Germany invaded the US mainland, and America capitulated and surrendered on September 18, 1947. They split the nation into 3 places: the German occupied zone on the east coast; the Japanese occupied zone on the west coast; and a buffer zone known as the neutral zone. There are more things to say, but it’ll be too long to write down here lol. The story is now set in 1962 in a very different America. I don’t want to spoil any more things in the show, so if you’re curious, go read the book or watch the show. I made this mod as a tribute to the story because it was one of the first stories that got me hooked on alternate history (along with Fallout) when I was a tween.
(Side note: I did some creative liberties in the loadouts so some of these wouldnt be accurate to the show [which is good to do hehe] but it would be stuff that should be present off-screen.)
