Vurtual’s M923A1 (M939 Series 5-ton)
This is the M923A1 5-ton cargo truck, with drop sides. Ported from Arma 1, with small bits from Richards.D’s DAR_MTVR. Fits the driver and two passengers in the front, and either 14 passengers(2 FFV) or over 15,000kg of cargo in the back.
Comes with seven skin variants: classic arma 1 woodland, a "fresh" woodland paint, green, desert tan, fire/rescue red, arctic white, and fresh woodland paint with OFP-inspired markings.
Uses the same tailgate cargo toggle action as the MTVR, with the cargo cover actions on the box between the cab and bed on the left side.
Can stow its cargo cover, fold down its bed sides, fold down the cab roof, and comes with multiple HAZMAT signs you can switch through, for when you’re transporting dangerous cargo.
Has a 5 speed automatic transmission, due to limitations the transfer case is always in the high range, and the front axle is always engaged, for 6×6 driving. Configured with the correct Cummins NHC 250 engine, this is reflected in the handling. It has the single tires in the rear, as opposed to the doubled up tires of the original M923.
Uses a custom fording depth system. Safe depth for fording is 1.98 meters at the engine(about 78 inches, or just below the top of the hood). Submerging the vehicle below this point will damage the engine over time, while submerging the air intake at 2.85 meters depth will kill the engine. You can still repair the engine afterwards.
The model from Arma 1 was originally an odd mix of different M939/M809 variants, and some innaccuracies may still remain.
