Description:

This mod changes the way towns are generated and how they grow.

Towns will no longer be a predictable and boring collection of 90° junctions and square blocks. Roads will have curves, blocks will have unique shapes and junctions will be more complicated. This style of town generation is often not more efficient (or realistic) than 90° towns, but it creates interesting towns and simulates organic growth. Towns will look more European and less planned.

The mod also changes that towns can be generated on rough terrain, so there’s now a chance you’ll see town roads going up hills or even small mountains. Generally there can also be towns on slopes rather than just flat planes.

This creates new and interesting logistical challenges that vary from town to town. This mod is mainly aimed at people looking for more variation in towns.

Technical details: This mod only changes the value at which angles roads are generated and allows town generation on rough terrain. Therefore it shouldn’t cause any incompatibilities and is safe to add or remove from a save.
