Description:

Are you tired of siege weapons that cost more than your army? barbarians in perfect formations? testudo not available in roman units? wooden towers that look like they’re made of stone?

Description:

ARC is a mod for Total War: Rome II that aims to increase the realism & diversity of formations and mechanism in the game by tweaking some of the arcade things of the game evolving into a more immersive and realistic level.

This is a battle modification focused in custom battles. I tested all the funcionalities with Vanilla game.

Note: if you find any bugs, incompatibility or have any suggestions you are welcome. Compatible with Radious, Divide et Impera not tested yet.

What this mod ACTUALLY does:

-Added differents and customs mobs (added the abilitie to throw rocks, whip and incremented the attack/defense a little), in custom battles they are a normal unit and now incremented in 240 men (price of the unit 60).
-Reduced life of the buildings in cities to burn more easy.
-Barbarian units now looks like a barbarian army, more scattered and as usually used to attack without pre-set formations.
-Towers of wood can now be destroyed more easy and ignite more frecuently.
-Added the hability to form defensive testudo to all roman units with "scutum".
-Decreased the price of all the ballistas, onagers and large onagers of all factions in custom battle to -700 to bring back the decent sieges and be able to recruit them without loosing extremes founds in the army (before a onager costed more than 1780, now 1080).
-Added the shield wall hability to a extensive number of units with long shields, including almost all of elite infantry units without spears and peltasts (now mercenaries too).
-Added a bunch of formations for roman and greeks factions (Macedon, Sparta, Epirus, Athens, Seleucid, Egypt, Baktria, and Syracusae.)
-Increased a little the protection of abilities "attacking, defensive and cavalry testudo" against projectiles.

Please as I wrote before if you find any bugs, incompatibility or have any suggestions you are welcome. If you want any of the functions separately I can publish another mod with them, you could be interested in read first all the stuff or see it in action. This mod at first was intended for my personal usage with friends, I hope you like it and any feedback is appreciated.
