Touhou Fortress
The world of Touhou has invaded Dwarf Fortress! Fight, tame, and train dozens of new high-quality creatures all with unique abilities, pixel art, and more.
This mod currently adds 14 new creatures and 1 new megabeast, each with their own defining characteristics, graphics, and abilities.
Each of the new characters can be taken with you at embark, be trained, domesticated, and can also be found in various biomes throughout the world. However, many of them are not benign, so beware if they attack you!
Invading armies may also bring some of these powerful spellcasters to attack your fortress, adding some additional challenges to sieges. There is also a new megabeast added by this mod who can take over civilizations, build lairs, and attack wealthy fortresses!
Reimu
A medium-sized creature with the ability to hurl ofuda, a long ranged, single target, and rapid attack.
Marisa
A medium-sized creature with the ability to fly and conjure magic bolts, which are medium ranged, single target, and high damage attacks.
Sakuya
A medium-sized creature with the ability to clean herself and others of contaminants, and can throw a flurry of steel daggers, which are short ranged, multi-target, and armor piercing attacks.
Patchouli
A medium-sized creature with an immunity to fire and can summon a powerful elemental golem as a protector.
Cirno
A medium-sized creature that can fly and cast ice shards, which are rapid, short range, single target, and high damage attacks.
Aya
A medium-sized creature that lays eggs in a nest box, and can unleash powerful gusts of wind that knock back enemies.
Suika
A medium-sized creature that likes to steal alcohol, and can gore enemies using their two powerful horns on the top of their head.
Shizuha
A medium-sized creature that can attack with several powerful kicking techniques. An autumnal spirit that only appears in her favorite season.
Alice
A medium-sized creature that can summon and control four dolls simultaneously to fight for her.
Yaname
A medium-sized creature with an immunity to poison, the ability to spray webs, and can inject lethal venom into her enemies. A powerful tsuchigumo and cavern-dweller with exceptional climbing abilities and a tendency to hunt vermin.
Eirin
A medium-sized creature with a unique talent for medicine. An extraordinary healer that can restore the wounds and infections of nearby friendly creatures, as well as attack enemies from a great distance using her bow and enchanted water arrows.
Utsuho
A medium-sized creature skilled at regulating fires. A dangerous magma-dweller that can hurl fireballs and spray jets of fire, as well as fly using her raven wings. Has an immunity to even the strongest of fires.
Nitori
A medium-sized creature and river-dweller with the ability to attack enemies using four mechanical arms. A shy kappa that normally flees from conflict, but can defend herself with incredibly rapid attacks when threatened.
Yuuka
The Flower Master of the Four Seasons, life sprouts everywhere she goes. Sometimes goes on rampages as retribution for the destruction of nature, but can also bestow bountiful harvests when in a good mood. An exceptionally strong melee combatant that can also gift valuable sun berries regularly.
Remilia
An extremely powerful vampire with exceptional speed, flying, durability, and powerful melee attacks. A dangerous megabeast that can take over civilizations, form lairs, and attack wealthy fortresses.
This mod should be compatible with anything, as it only adds new content rather than replacing things. Feel free to use it alongside other mods. All credits for the anime themed art go to their respective authors.
