How to use

  • Singleplayer
    1. SOLO. Add "Custom Repair Settings" mod and select sandbox mode.
    2. New options are in Character tab of sandbox settings.
  • Host a server
    1. First you need to enable this mod in main menu MODS.
    2. HOST. Edit server settings.
    3. Server settings, Workshop tab. Add this mod.
    4. Sandbox settings, Character tab. If you don’t see new settings check mod enabled from main menu MODS.
  • Host a dedicated server
    Read steamappsworkshopcontent1086002716726628modsCustomRepairSettingsreadme.txt.
  • Existing singleplayer game
    1. Backup your save folder: <user>ZomboidSavesSandbox<your_save_folder>.
    2. Create a new game: same settings (mods, sandbox options) + this mod and its settings. New save folder: <user>ZomboidSavesSandbox<new_save_folder>.
    3. Copy map_sand.bin file (file with sandbox options) from <new_save_folder> to <your_save_folder> (replace).
    4. LOAD. Select your (old) save, details, add this mod.
    5. Now you can load your save.
If something goes wrong with your save replase <your_save_folder> with backup folder.
    Note
map_sand.bin file contains exact days of water and elec shut. These two values are set when you create a new game. So if you want to get exact same settings you need to open your old map_sand.bin (notepad) and copy these two values (you can find them after "WaterShutModifier" and "ElecShutModifier") to your new map_sand.bin.
  • Existing multiplayer game
Just add this mod (Workshop tab) and select its settings before starting server. If you don’t see new settings check mod enabled from main menu MODS.
  • Existing dedicated server game
