The Survival Resources Mod

This mod is a collection of concepts and ideas that the creator has developed over the last 18-24 months at the publication date of this mod. These concepts take the form of objects, items and the addition of new game-play mechanics.
This mod is very much akin to a concept car. There is no intention for mass production, but rather a collection of features designed to offer a unique experience. Which is essentially what the entire purpose is. To play a new game from scratch. Have a new experience with more complex game-play dynamics. And then revert to one’s own preferred state of play when one feels as though they had enough time to explore the features of this mod. Thus the creator will not be phased if people unsubscribe if they so choose.
This mod is not intended to supplement the base game experience. It is not designed to improve quality of life or game performance. It is not designed to add balance or address any inconsistencies within the vanilla base game. Its not a collection of items or objects to add to your inventory, nor is it intended to enhance the aesthetics of the game in any way. Finally, it is not a replacement for any other mods, nor is it aimed at being compatible, though measures for compatibility have been put in place are are addressed in the following section.
This mod originally started off a few years back as a hazardous environment exploration mod. The creator then attempted to add new resources to the game. He has since been successful with the feedback of the discord community and fellow modders.
There are 4 Vanilla Resources in the base game;
• Health
• Energy
• Hunger
• Breath (air)
This mod adds the following additional resources;
• Stamina
• Mana
• Armour
• Ammo
• Biowaste (both #1 and #2)
• Special Power
The purpose of this mod is to make the survival mode much more challenging and difficult by adding these new resources.
Resources;
There are various objects and items that are designed to specifically manage these resources. Additionally, there are items and weapons that consume mana and ammo, in addition to energy.
The only resources that need to be managed carefully is Biowaste and Stamina.
Stamina; If a player’s stamina reaches zero, they will pass out and remain stationary until they recover 20% of their stamina, to which they will then wake up. The player simply needs to occupy a loungable objects, such as a bed, and they will recover their stamina, mana and of course their health.
Biowaste; increases when a player eats or drinks food. There are 2 toilet objects in addition to toilet paper the player can craft to… manage their waste. If a player has an accident they will become soiled. They must use a shower object for at least 20 seconds. If the player’s biowaste reaches 100% there is a risk they may have an accident. If the player is in a suitable location where no toilet is present, they can crouch and… manage their waste.
Mana, Energy and the Special Power; These will regenerate very slowly when they are fully depleted, the special power taking at least 20 min to recover. The energy and mana will recover in roughly less than 1 min.
Ammo; This is simply a counter to the current weapon a player is holding if they are holding an item that uses ammo. There are various firearm weapons consume an “ammo refill” type of item.
• Bows, Crossbows and Dartguns Use the “arrow” refill
• Pistols, rifles and smgs all use the “ammo” refill
• Launchers such as grenade launchers and rocket launchers use the “warheads” refill
Armour; Reduces damage a player receives. Each time a player takes damage the armour resource will wear down. When this happens the player will take more damage. A player can recover armour with armour refills.
Health and Hunger; Functions as normal
Air (Breath); Functions as normal, but is slowly depleted when under liquids. If the player has an EPP unit it will last 20 min before they need an oxygen refill
