Gladius Recolored
This is a cosmetic only mod. I adjusted the saturation and contrast levels of all textures in the game, not including the UI. The overall goal with the color set used in this mod was to create a more vibrant colorful setting.
Aside from the saturation and contrast adjustments these changes have been made:
- Separated Sky into two textures. One for cloud shadows and one for casting onto the water.
- Reduced intensity of red tint for the ambient volcanic light.
- Increased the emission levels for the lava bits on the volcanic tiles.
- Increased flow speed of the rivers.
I intend to add a half dozen tinted alternative color sets, and then ultimately a method of randomizing between them for increased map variance.
This mod only changes the texture files themselves, but it does change almost all of the textures. Make sure this mod is placed at the bottom of the load order so that other mods custom textures load properly.
This mod will not conflict with any scaling mods.
Gladius+ also replaces many textures. For textures that are in both mods, whichever mod is higher in the load order will be used.
This mod works well with my Full Citadel Color Set mod.
I play with depth fog disabled, so I have not adjusted anything related to it.
