Description:

This mod basically adds 3 new researches : More Ninja Attires, More Nobles Attires, and More Peasants Attires to craft recolored versions of already existing armour in the game.

These 3 researches cost 1 book and are available at tech level1. They unlock respectively a Ninja, a Noble, and Peasant Bench, and all according blueprints to the research. (the cost of research will surely change in the future as well as the tech level requirement)

These 3 benches that you unlock cost 3 iron plates, and for now will use fabrics to craft the different unlocked equipement. (I also plan to change it so Noble Bench will need fabrics and luxury goods/armor plates, Ninja bench will need leather and fabrics, and Peasant Bench will need fabrics only, or something like that)

Now onto the equipement unlocked :
– Ninja bench : This will unlock recolored leather/cloth armour with a black tint (as well as wooden sandals for the OGs).
The equipment will be lighter than the original version (normally), will give a bonus in stealth (1,05 / 1,1), but will offer less protection as a drawback.
In this bench you can also craft the thieves backpacks (but this is a little OP, i might change that).
And finally for the martial artists out there, I added a "protective bindings" item that you wear in the belt slot and that provide 100% protection to the fists and that weights 2kg. (again, it is up to changes)

-Peasant Bench : This will unclock recolored cloth/leather armour with a brownish/greenish tint (as well as wooden sandals for the OGs). There is also a modified stout hessian pants that actually gives protection, but the rest of the unlocked gear gives no (additional) tactical advantage whatsoever.

-Noble Bench : This will unlock recolored Plate armour, Noble Trousers and Noble Robe with a red/grey tint.
As for the plate armour : you be able to craft recolored Holy/Unholy chest plates, plateboots, police helmets, tin cans, paladins hichiganes, and stout hessians with modified statistics so it gives protection to the legs. The nobles trousers and robe are also modified to give protection to the person that wears it.

The idea behind this mod was to give you the possibility to embrace the thieve/ninja gameplay with the Ninja bench (and also help martial artists a bit). I also wanted to have a personalised and easily obtainable equipment, so you can feel more unique as a faction with the Peasant and Noble bench.

All of this equipment is available only if you unlock the reasearches and craft the gear yourself. Nobody will sell the gear and blueprints, nor will wear it.

You can have a taste of what your characters will look like by using the different starting scenarios :
– TestNoble starting scenario : you’ll have 1 noble with 100 stats, 10 noble soldiers, 10 peasants and 10 ninjas with according gear. (totally unbalanced but you’ll see all the different gear available)

– Band Of Thieves : You start with 3 ninjas in the Hub, and with enough money to join the shinobi thieves. You will be equiped with Ninja clothes. Basically it will give you a little head-start if you want to go robbing some random dudes.

– The King of Nothing : You start with a noble leader, two bodyguards, and three peasants. This scenario will provide you with a little head-start in case if you want to RP and go and set up a base in the wild.

What I plan in the future : (for some, I still need to figure out if i’ll make this in separate mods or not)
– Adding recrutable characters with ninja/noble/peasant background, equipment and stats ;
– Rebalance tech requirement, and cost ;
– Separate all the plated armour gear in the noble bench into another new crafting bench ;
– Rebalance equipment stats, and crafting cost ;
– Adding a town or two as well as a new faction ;
(- Adding town overrides so you could expend this new faction in Holy-Nation/ United-Cities territories ?)
(- Adding custom weapon/armor models/textures ?)

Since for now, this mod only adds new things, without modifying the base game and variables, this should work with any mods i guess.

This is also my first mod, so I will appreciate ideas, feedback, and why not some tips to get further into kenshi modding !

Enjoy !
