Exiled Monk Expansion – Martial Village addon
This mod started as a small addon to the Martial Village mod https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1489675661. Then I started watching me some Kill Bill and got inspired to make a full-blown quest mod based on the Pai Mei character.
If you’ve watched Kill Bill and know the lore behind Pai Mei, this mod will have some easter eggs here and there to give you some light chuckles as you play through the questline. If you don’t, you can interact with the NPCs to find out a loose version of Pai Mei’s lore adapted to fit the Martial Village universe.
Features
- 3 new NPCs: Hong Wei Ting, Liu Karang, and Pai Mei. Hong Wei Ting is somewhere in the Bonefields, and Pai Mei is somewhere in The Hook. Liu Karang’s location will be revealed through the questline. !!!WARNING: PAI MEI IS OP AF. HE WILL ONE SHOT KILL YOU WITH HIS LEGENDARY FISTS IF YOU ♥♥♥♥ HIM OFF!!! This is Pai Mei, the 1,000 year-old legendary leader of the White Lotus Sect, master of the 5-Point Palm Exploding Heart Technique. Be on your toes and play smart, my dudes and dudettes.
- Small questline: Will you become Pai Mei’s disciple (really hard to do, even boring)? Or will you help Hong Wei Ting on his journey? You choose.
- 2 new craftable martial arts weapons/augments. You’ll have to find out what they are. They are pretty hard to get but very OP.
- New start: Exiled Monk
Start as a monk exiled from the village. You’ll have good gear, 70-ish level stats, and a unique staff. After speaking to Bodhisatva, the Martial Village quest dialogues will no longer be available. You will be at neutral relations with the monks unless… :O …. NPCs and questline will be available even if you don’t pick this start. - Wandering Exiled Monks will now appear throughout the world and have a small chance to be recruited.
