King Knight
The Decadent Dandy hailing from Pridemoor Keep is here! Boasting his entire arsenal from Shovel Knight: King of Cards, King Knight is ready to bash, blast, and use his brass to bowl over his opposition! Complete with all of his heirlooms and a powerful (and fun!) shoulder bash, King Knight is the perfect fighter to bring the spirit of true royalty to the Rivals of Aether battlefield.
-King Knight can use his neutral special to deploy a Rat Bombardier that will run forward to serve its king until it hits an enemy or runs off the stage. Special can be pressed again to reverse the rat’s movement direction or detonate it while it is in the air.
-Side Special executes a shoulder bash, launching King Knight forward. If an enemy or wall is hit, King Knight will leap into the air, able to bounce on enemies and projectiles. Doing so will refresh the shoulder bash ability. Alternatively, press special again quickly to perform a powerful roll attack.
-Down Special allows King Knight to summon his regal throne for a devastating blow.
-Up Special allows King Knight to use his Scorching Saber to soar into the air before crashing back down.
Other tools in King Knight’s arsenal include the Horns of Heralding, Dueling Glove, Bubble Frog, Healing Hammer, and more! Additionally, King Knight may be impressive to the eye, but he’s quite frail under all that armor. Landing consecutive successful hits on an opponent will cause a heart to fly out of them. Picking up this heart will allow King Knight to recover some damage, so that he can stay in the fight a little longer!
