Description:

AI will now train if you’re using Strength Training Continued, and may make their courtiers train. Feel free to read the rest of this if you wanna know the details but it’s basically an explanation of conditions under which they will, won’t, are more likely to and less likely to.

AI rulers:
– During war, make any courtiers who can be knights train.
– If Just or Humble, train alongside them as a matter of fairness / integrity. If of a sex not allowed to fight, must be both Humble and Just for this to apply.
– Cancelled: Making courtiers continue to train after a war if that war is lost for 10 years. Turned the map into an oversized collection of pingpong games and while that is hilarious, it is also odd.
– Will expand further with ruler personalities and such.

AI characters in general:
Layer 1, the "absolutes":
– Won’t train if already as strong as can be.
– Must be 10 or older.
– Health higher than 2.1 (can get injured in training, that extra 0.1 health keeps them from killing themselves).
– Won’t train if suffering from certain conditions, like being diseased or already wounded.

Fork 1, first flexibility:
– Will train if a zealot of a violent religion (warmongers, priests can be fighters, can have great holy wars)
– Will train if brave at the same time as sadistic or flagellant.
– Will train if greedy and part of a culture with Battlefield Looters tradition.
– Will train if vengeful, has a rival and is in a culture that allows dueling of rivals.
– Won’t train despite presence of anything else in Layer 2 if banned from being a fighter due to culture, UNLESS they have the stubborn trait. (for example a woman in an only-men-can-fight dueling culture usually won’t train, but will if she’s stubborn)

Fork 2, the Elsewise:
– This only applies to those whose gender means they’re not allowed to fight.
– Currently only contains that rulers will train alongside their courtiers if they make them train, because the "unless they’re stubborn" applies within Fork 1.

Fork 3, Gambling
– Instead of "will" or "won’t", this fork in the path works on "might".
– If culture only allows one sex to fight, and is of that culture, more likely to train the more honourable they are.
– If culture values strength, more likely to train the more honourable they are.
– If culture allows them to fight, more likely to train if their religion is warlike and they are faithful (separate from zealous or not, so monks more likely to train for example)
– Brave more likely to train if their culture allows them to fight. In turn cravens are less likely to train.
– Knights more likely to train the more rational they are.
– Unless stubborn, having prowess of 0 or 1 greatly reduces odds of training if culture has Only the Strong tradition (won’t be allowed to fight even if they get the total +10 from training).
– Fertile women more likely to train in religions with Sacred Childbirth.
– Older people less likely to train (separate from the hard 2.1 health minimum, which locks out a lot of old peeps).
