Portable crank start Generators/pump + testbed and accessories
portable pump with generator functionality plus 2 simple crank started generators, smaller of the 2 is man portable, second is better with 2 carrying, both Generators would be ideal for late night mining operations, emergency power systems unreliant on having any power at all to start etc, testbed included and some simple portable accessories I’m working on.
HOW TO START:
1. Ideally connect up the electrical cable and/or hoses (blue is fluid in, red fluid out) provided to the node you wish to power prior to startup otherwise you’re wasting fuel
2. begin cranking for about 2 seconds and engine should start automatically.
HOW TO STOP:
1.press and hold the "Kill switch" button until the engine/generator RPS drops below 1, can also run crank to assist in causing a stall, engine has no starter and therefore will not resume until the stall button is released and the crank brings the rps back up.
it really is that simple!
all run reliably without overheating from the testing I’ve done.
may at a later date update this with some man-portable refueling tanks as well as a portable manual pump intended to move fuel, water or whatever else is desired as the motorised pump is rather bulky.
