Description:

Gizmo’s Chess Clock/Timer is easy to setup and use. For a basic understanding of how it works you can look up videos on the
"Wholesale Chess Basic Digital Chess Timer with Bonus and Delay", which is what the script loosely was based on.

Operating Instructions:
—————————————————————————————————————————————

After spawning the clock it will restore any previous state. (as long as TTS calls my function –)
When spawning from the infinite bag included in this download the clock is in the Pause State.

—————————————————————————————————————————————

Pause State:
The Pause state is denoted visually via flashing colons. If the colons on only one side are flashing, the flashing side is the side who was performing their turn before the game was paused.
When in the Pause State clicking on the middle button will resume the timer if only one side is flashing. If both sides are flashing press the button on the side opposite the player who you want to start.
When one side is flashing and the middle button is pressed, the flashing side will resume timing.
If you would like the other player to resume instead, simply press the button on the side of the flashing colons and the non-flashing side will resume.
Holding the middle button down for 2 seconds when in the Pause State will enter the Modify State.

—————————————————————————————————————————————

Modify State:
The Modify State is denoted by 1 flashing digit and flashing colons on one or both sides. The digit that is flashing is the currently selected digit.
Upon entering Modify mode the selected digit is the hours digit on the left side.
To decrease the selected digit press the left side button, to increase the selected digit press the right side button.
To select the next digit press the middle button. When the selection switches clock sides, the settings of the left will be copied to the right for your convenience.
You may make both sides unique if you wish by adjusting the right side after the left side is copied over to it.
Once both timers have been set the clock will request Bonus Time amounts, this can be left at 00 if you do not want to play with Bonus Time.
Once both Bonus Time amounts have been set the clock will request Delay Time amounts, this can be left at 00 if you do not want Delay Time.
Once both Delay Time amounts have been set the clock will return to the Pause State, with the selected settings.
Holding down middle button for 2 seconds will save the set settings and enter the Pause State.

—————————————————————————————————————————————

Play State:
The Play State is the state where the count down/up occurs.
Pressing the middle button will enter the Pause State.
Holding the middle button for 2 seconds will enter the Adjust State.
Pressing the side button of the currently active side will move play to the other side of the clock.

—————————————————————————————————————————————

Adjust State:
The Adjust State is denoted by solid colons and 1 flashing digit.
Upon entering Modify mode the selected digit is the hours digit on the left side.
To decrease the selected digit press the left side button, to increase the selected digit press the right side button.
To select the next digit press the middle button. When both sides have been adjusted the Pause State will be entered.
Holding down middle button for 2 seconds will reset the timers, maintain the set settings, and enter the Pause State.

—————————————————————————————————————————————

Color Mode:
Color Mode is an optional mode designed to prevent Griefing. To enable Color Mode first be sure that the clock is in the Pause State.

From there, one player holds down the button on their side. A notification will come up in the top center of the screen reading:
Set Player # to <username> (color)
Waiting for Player #…

The 2nd player should now hold the button on their side. Color Mode should now be enabled.
To disable Color Mode simply hold one of the side buttons down when in the Pause State.

When Color Mode is enabled the clock will change colors when in the Play State, Both colors will have full control over the clock, and inputs from other colors will be ignored.

I will improve this object if I get the time to. Currently the middle button is sometimes a little tricky to press from certain viewing angles, i believe this is a bug in TTS, but I would like to fix it if possible.

If you have any suggestions or feature request I will take them into account the next time I have time to update.
