Data Leak Scan Range Increase
PSA: In order to fix a critical bug I’ve had to reduce the range granted by this mod significantly from 4000 meters to 600. However the default is 30 so it’s still worth using.
What does this mod do?
Massively increases the range of the short range scanner in order to make data leak scanning less tedious and annoying. This should make it easier to scan from M ships as well as make it possible to scan from L and XL ships if you so desire.
Does this make the game easier?
Yes, technically, but I think it just saves you time. The range is still short enough that you’ll have to go into station turret range, so I don’t think it effects the balance of the game.
