Skaven Undercities Redone (Beta)
This mod adds new mechanics to skaven undercities, particularly their destruction. When a city is razed, your undercity moves above ground and your subterranean denizens take up residence in the ruins above. When the AI or player tries to remove an undercity, instead of magically expunging it from the city’s underbelly, a small force is created outside of the city, which then attacks a skaven force that’s based off of the undercity buildings. Did the city have a strip mine? The army that spawns now has warp grinders. Maybe it had a research lab? Now the army has globadiers. This makes for a fun and interactive mechanic that was previously just pressing a button.
New Mechanic: Skaven Cities now have a 50% chance of spawning an undercity if they are captured by the ai or player. Those pesky rats aren’t so easy to get rid of after all.
This mod is in beta, I have tested it quite a bit but there is only so much testing one person can do. Please report any bugs or crashes so I can investigate and improve the mod.
Also it will cause desyncs in multiplayer. There’s nothing I can do about it unfortunately, its a limitation of CAs army spawning function
Compatible with everything, including my Other Skaven Mod, in fact this used to be a part of that mod until I decided it would be better to release it as a standalone mod.
