on april 19th 1775 some brave american minute men were warned of advancing british troops by paul revreand samuel presscott.12 minutemen lined up to halt the advance.400 british troops arrived on the morning of april 19th. in quite the tensionist moment, someone fired causing the british to fire on the militia.6 men were killed on the american side and about 2 died on the british side.this allowed the americans to prepare for the battle of concorde.
