in the late years of the napoleonic wars the french started a campaign they would never return from. it led to the death of many troops french and russian. but the russians had a better strategy SCORTCHED EARTH they would light land on fire slowing down frances army who relied on the land for their tactics, most of the french died from frostbite this battle would have probaly the most french deaths.
