ALX400 – First Olympia
The Alexander-Dennis ALX400 is a low floor double decker bus designed by Walton Alexander Coachbuilders in the late 1990s, and was in production until the mid-2000s. The bus was an incredibly common sight across the entirety of the United Kingdom, as well as seeing use in Ireland and Hong Kong. The ALX400 was available on 3 chassis, the Dennis Trident 2; the Volvo B7TL; and the DAF DB250.
The design was replaced by the Alexander Dennis Enviro 400 in 2005. ALX400s aren’t as common as they used to be, though they can still be found in various locations across the UK, and in preservation.
This mod represents the ALX400 in First Olympia livery.
