Plaxton Pointer 2 – First Olympia
The Plaxton Pointer 2 is a low floor single decker bus designed by Plaxton in the mid 1990s. The bus was incredibly popular throughout the United Kingdom, with both large and small companies ordering it. The Pointer 2 was officially only available on the Dennis Dart SLF chassis, however there was one example in the United Kingdom built on a Bluebird LFCC9 chassis. The Pointer was ordered by companies in the UK, Hong Kong, and also in the USA as the Bluebird LMB.
The Pointer 2 was replaced by the Alexander-Dennis Enviro 200 in 2006, however the bus has seen constant widespread usage, and many examples have entered preservation.
This mod represents the Plaxton Pointer 2 in First Olympia livery.
