Description:

By far the 2nd largest project I’ve ever done for this game, I’ve had the chance to work along side many wonderful contributors, and for that, I would like to thank you all!

Have you ever thought to youself: "Wow, you can’t heal your teammates in the heat of battle in this game"? Probably not, but I’ve come up with a solution for that problem anyways, this pack adds a new category of weapons to the game, enabling you to become the team’s Healer. Featuring:

  • Nanite Autoinjector
    ID: healer_syringe
    • Using autoinjector technology, allows nanite to repair damaged tissues and body parts
    • Can be used to heal teammates or on yourself, healing yourself costs 2x the energy used
    • Will not heal anything but your allies
  • Healer’s Pistol
    ID: medic_pistol
    • A pistol with a nanite launcher, this allows you to heal your teammate at range.
    • Primary is a regular pistol attack.
    • Alt fire launches nanites at high speeds, will heal any allies it hits, will not hit enemies.
  • Healer’s SMG
    ID: medic_smg
    • The pistol design was remade into a compact submachine gun, allowing you to dish out even more damage.
    • Primary is a rapid firing stream of bullets.
    • Alt fire launches nanites at high speeds, will heal any allies it hits, will not hit enemies.
    • Primary attack features light stumble power.
  • Healer’s Revolver
    ID: medic_revolver
    • A high damaging revolver with a slow rate of fire, gives off extra stopping power but you must be very accurate to hit your shots.
    • Primary attack is a high caliber magnum shot.
    • Alt fire launches nanites at high speeds, will heal any allies it hits, will not hit enemies.
  • Healing Grenade
    ID: hp_grenade
    • Releases nanites in the form of nanite clouds
    • To quote one of our scientists: ‘Programmable nanites that will revifiy your allies, while euthanizing those with hostile intent.’ We hope that helps.
    • Nanites heals allies in a small area, will also acts as monster repellant, poisons your foes while knocking them back, allowing you and your teammates to heal.
  • Healer’s Assault Rifle
    ID: medic_ar
    • The full-blown assault rifle for the healer.
    • Primary attack is a fully automatic volley of bullets.
    • Alt fire: Launcher, Grenade, 40mm, M501.
    • Grenade impact deals damage to foes, grenades will stick to any surfaces it touches.
    • Grenade will also release nanite clouds, much like the healing grenades.
    • Primary attack features high stumble.
  • Biotic Rifle
    ID: ??????
    • How the heck did this get here?
    • No seriously, blizzard will kill us if they know!
    • What the frick it doesn’t even work like the original game!!!!!
    • It doesn’t explode into a healing cloud in OW!!
    • WTF YOU DON’T USE THIS TO NANO BOOST!!!

They can be crafted at the tier 2 medical table under the "Buffs" tab.

Known issues:

  • The weapons will bug out in PvP, giving heals to people that you’re PvP-ing against!
  • Sometimes the nanite clouds will get confused and starts healing your foes, but that shouldn’t be a problem since they also knocks them back and outdamage the healing if they dare to get near, plus you can shoot back!

This is in no shape or form, a finished mod, therefore, future plans:

  • Fix bugs if there are any
  • Balance the mod
  • Compatibility patches for Chaika’s RPG mod DONE! Symbiotic Health: Buffing other players as a MEDIC will cause you to receive the same buffs as your patient.
  • Something I should mention but I forgot :/

What’s this "Forge" thing?

It’s a mini-series of weapons and stuff that I plan on working. We do have a discord server[discord.gg] for those whom are interested.

Fun fact:

  • This mod was made without using lua.
  • Why the blue and white cross? Why not the red cross? Well… Two reasons:
    • The red cross and red crescent emblems are protected symbols under international humanitarian law and national laws. Any use that is not expressly authorized by the Geneva Conventions and their Additional Protocols constitutes a misuse of the emblem. Use of these emblems by unauthorized persons is strictly forbidden.
    • I like the color of blue, it’s soothing in a weird way…
