Description:
Arma 3 – Omissions Project +

I made custom textures for berets that haven’t their own textures like the CSAT beret. Indeed, all berets had the same black textures and it was boring.
I also make them appears in the Virtual Arsenal and in the editor.
I redo the Gendarmerie beret texture and make it point to its own RVMAT file that wasn’t use by BI.

For mission maker, if you use Virtual Arsenal to give a beret that I textured to an unit with the mod on, it will create a dependency to my mod.
But, if you add it in the init of the unit or with a script like "this addheadgear "H_Beret_ocamo";", there will be no dependency and it will use my textures for those who’ve got the mod and vanilla black texture for others.

Texture added for :

– Beret (Police)
– Beret [CSAT]
– Beret (Red)
– Beret (Green)
– Beret (SAS)
– Beret (SF)

Incompatibility :

Will conflict with AEGIS as it put those berets too. The game will choose one of the mod for the textures so choose your loadorder wisely.
No big conflicts then so no crash to desktop or anything with this mod on, even with AEGIS mod activated.
Use this Compatibility Patch to prevent this.

Tips :

You can use it with the mod Arma 3 – Omissions Project that add textures that were missing in vanilla Arma 3 while textures were existing in Arma 3 files.
You can also check the mod Arma 3 – Additions Project that add vanilla textures variants to headgears with headset like bandanas and booniehats.

Q&A :

Q : I don’t like your texture for [Insert object here]. Can you make [an other] one ?
A : I don’t think so. Except if a lot of people are complaining about this one. I will maybe improve some with time but not change it totally without massive complaints.

Q : I can’t find any of your berets ! Where are they ?
A : They are with the vanilla berets. Look for "beret" in your language and they will be there with vanilla ones.

Q : Can you make more berets ?
A : Maybe but if I do, it will probably be in an other mod as this one use existing berets in the game that don’t have their own textures.

Q : Will you create a patch so your mod work with AEGIS as Standalone berets ? ’cause I love one of your texture instead of the AEGIS one but not others compare to those of AEGIS.
