Ducks’ Zombie Building Spawn Fix

Description:

In Zomboid, zombies inside of buildings are only spawned if you’re within a close radius of the building and have visible sight into the building. This means that you can be making as much noise as possible and not draw out any zombies from inside the building, which can be quite the annoyance if you’re trying to clear out the bloc. This mod fixes this issue by making it so zombies inside of buildings are spawned in as soon as the building is loaded in.

This does not increase or decrease the amount of zombies in the world, but you may notice an increase of zombies due to the fact you’re spawning in zombies from buildings the moment you load in the building. Building spawns are not affected by zombie respawns (as far as I’m aware, at least) so you don’t have to worry about zombies respawning in them either.*

*There is one single caveat to this: If you haven’t explored the roof of your base or a building it’s possible that there’s un-spawned zombies waiting there that will then be spawned in with this mod. Welcome to Zomboid.
