Wheatley is a lightweight with two double jumps and an arsenal of weapons to keep enemies at bay.

Neutral Special – Wheatley fires a missile. This ability can be held down to aim or be canceled with parry. This special’s cooldown lasts as long as the missile is active.
Forward Special – Wheatley throws himself forward. Wheatley can wall jump to cancel this move but otherwise must land. Wheatley wil bounce on blue gels when using this move.
Up Special – Wheatley puts his bomb shields up (gaining armor) and fires bombs. The longer this ability is held, the more bombs shot. Bombs can hurt Wheatley.
Down Special – Wheatley shoots out a neurotoxin capsule towards the ground. The capsule can protect Wheatley from projectiles and does damage to enemies that are near it. This ability can be held to increase the launch distance of the capsule.
Wheatley’s Down Tilt and Dash Attack leave behind repulsion and propulsion gels.
Repulsion gel is blue and bouncy while propulsion gel is orange and slippery. Hold down on blue gel to bounce higher!
Wheatley’s bombs and neurotoxin can bounce on blue gel. Wheatley can crouch to interact with either gel.
Performing Wheatley’s Down Strong on either of the gels will cover him in the gel, changing certain attributes.
Blue Gel
While covered in blue gel, Wheatley’s next attack while have greatly increased knockback. However, the next attack to hit Wheatley will also have its knockback increased. Hitting an enemy or being hit removes blue gel from Wheatley. Crouching while covered in blue gel will make Wheatley bounce in the air.
Orange Gel
While covered in orange gel, Wheatley can cancel any special move into an attack. Being hit or cancelling a special move will remove orange gel from Wheatley. Crouching while covered in orange gel will have Wheatley slide along the ground.
