Saramello’s New Performance Mod
This is an update of my previous mod. Basically makes the game run faster by removing the periphery of the map. No Subsaharan Africa, no India/Tibet, and no Siberia.
Will also help bordergore slightly since there’s less opportunity for horrible blobs in areas that don’t exist.
MAJOR ISSUE: For some ungodly reason all the removed land is tagged as owned by England. It has no baronies and is completely useless but I hope you enjoy the color red.
Also: I think you might be able to unlock any cultural innovation because of this. I have no idea how it works. I just add a bunch of letters in the landed_titles file infront of every empire and kingdom tab (so e_tibet is ghoghh e_tibet, which makes the game remove it). If you figure out how to solve these issues, LMK. You’re also more than welcome to copy and improve the mod.
