Description:

This mod introduces additional government policy cards designed to aid players in effectively managing religion and Faith in the later stages of the game. These policy cards become available during the Modern era and provide incentives for maintaining Holy Sites, as well as significant boosts to support a religious victory late in the game.

The effects have been designed so that they should be compatible with all rulesets. They don’t make use of DLC mechanics or civics. The aim was to try and extend the window of opportunity that the whole religious playstyle could be seen as reasonably viable.

Televangelism (Economic)
Civic: Mass Media
Effects: +4 Faith, +2 Culture, and +2 Amenities in cities with a Broadcast Center.

Megachurches (Economic)
Civic: Capitalism
Effects: Holy Sites and worship buildings each provide +5 Gold and +5 Faith.

State Secularism (Economic)
Civic: Class Struggle
Effects: All Religious units +20 Religious Strength in theological combat. BUT: -15% Faith in all cities.
Makes obsolete: Religious Orders

In God We Trust (Wildcard)
Civic: Suffrage
Effects: +50% Faith and +2 Food in cities with a Holy Site district. BUT: -1 Amenity in all cities.
