[WOTC] Iridar’s Quantum Mystic Class (April Fools’)

Adds new soldier class, Quantum Mystic, and three tiers of Mystic Staves, their primary weapons.

Quantum Mystics are available through regular promotions, albeit slightly more rare than your regular soldiers.

Primary Weapons – Mystic Staff (added by the mod, upgraded by sword schematics)
Secondary Weapons – none
Armor – Reaper Armor

Quantum Mysticism is the bread and butter ability of any aspiring Quantum Mystic. What does it do? What doesn’t it do! Damage enemies, heal wounds, strengthen body and soul, cure illnesses.. all through the power of the mind and manifestation of one’s desires. Or at least Quantum Mystics claim so.

Quantum Mysticism does not cost any action points, and it can be used once per turn.

Other abilities of Quantum Mystics are practically limitless, just try it and you will see for yourself. The only important thing is to believe. Doesn’t that make sense?

For those late to the party, this mod is an Aprils’ Fools joke. It does add a real class and weapons, but they’re not intended to be used for any kind of serious, balanced playthrough. They’re definitely something you can have fun with. Or have fun crashing your game with. It’s highly unpredictable, and that’s the whole point.

I will be DELETING any questions about "what does this mod actually do", as well as any attempts to explain it to others. Let people have the fun of discovering that for themselves.

Safe to add mid-campaign. Just trust me on this and don’t add this soldier class to Ironman campaigns.

Long War of the Chosen – compatible out of the box. Quantum Mystic gains an additional rank and Mystic Staves are converted to LWOTC single-build system and are given infiltration values.

[WOTC] Prototype Armoury and [WOTC] Covert Infiltration – compatible out of the box, Mystic Staves are converted to single build system and are given infiltration values.

Musashi’s RPG Overhaul – compatible out of the box. Quantum Mystic class is disabled, RPGO Soldiers are given access to Mystic Staves. The Quantum Mysticism ability is attached to staves directly. Make sure to unsubscribe from Community Promotion Screen while playing with RPGO. The Quantum Mystic’s GTS perk will remain in GTS, but it will not do anything for RPGO Soldiers.

Quantum Mystic has great synergy with mods that add more abilities, like perk packs, other class mods or even enemy mods.
