Recreation of Type-47B ‘Deutoros’ Ultra-Heavy Assault Platform show in Halo 3.

Originally designed strictly for mining operations and deep excavations on widely varied terrain, the Scarab has since been repurposed for combat.
The walker is used to attack heavily defended structures and emplacements and to provide nearly-unstoppable combat support for Covenant ground forces.
A heavily-fortified and dexterous mobile platform that boasts impressive levels of firepower, the Scarab is known for striking fear into its opponents.

Mechanized Scarab Features

-One main cannon Type 56. ( Targeting all types of units )
-One main anti-air cannon Type 56. ( Targeting only air units )
-Seven Type 26 Shade turrets.
-Three Type 26 Shade anti-tank turrets.

-You can fully destroy all turrets and legs, once a leg is destroyed, scarab will go into a "injured" animation where it stays stationary and close to the ground, you must board the scarab and destroy its core to fully kill it, or destroy two of its legs. (Exactly how you would do it in halo 3)

– Note that the Core can only be destroyed by heavy caliber/AT fire, so get those SPNKRs out!

Mechanized Scarab Info

You can find the Scarab Module in the "Module" section of zeus.

This is a fully mechanized scarab using inverse kinematics and black magic. It works exactly like its Halo 3 counterpart. You can even drop it from orbit!

This is around 285 Moving objects and has multiple per-frame event handlers running at about 20hz to make the scarab walk and move. This means that if you plan on running this on an outdated server, please test it beforehand. I was able to run 3 Scarabs very smoothly on my unit’s central server. The FPS didn’t flinch, but that statistic is not universal. Please, Please, Please test this mod, and if you notice anything that could be improved or a bug I might’ve missed, please feel free to mention it in a forum on this workshop page. Otherwise, I will listen for the sounds of players’ screams as this giant mech bears down on them.

– I’m currently working with 1st MEU to get a scarab model up, which will reduce the amount of objects to around 12, this will hopefully be implemented in the near future and help frames considerably.
