Description:

This mod utilizes the unused Bishop Boat and Rook Boat animations found in Hamlet’s files to add new clockwork boats to Shipwrecked.

Features:
  • Both Floaty Boaty Bishops and Floaty Boaty Rooks act very similar to their normal clockwork counterparts. (Including the Rook’s ability to destroy breakable structures when charging.)
  • Floaty Boaty Bishop’s can drop 1-3 gears and a purple gem.
  • Floaty Boaty Rook’s can drop 2-4 gears.
  • Since Clockwork Knights and Clockwork Bishops do the same damage (40), Floaty Boaty Bishops do the same damage as Floaty Boaty Knights. (50)
  • Since Clockwork Rooks do five more damage (45) than Clockwork Knights and Clockwork Bishops, Floaty Boaty Rooks do five more damage as well. (55)
  • The Wooden Platform Thing layout world generation in Shipwrecked now has a Floaty Boaty Knight, a Floaty Boaty Bishop, and a Floaty Boaty Rook instead of just three Floaty Boaty Knights.
  • Chess Naval Investigations now account for Floaty Boaty Bishops and Floaty Boaty Rooks, and are (possibly) more difficult.

"Bugs":
  • Unlike Floaty Boaty Knights, Floaty Boaty Bishops and Floaty Boaty Rooks do not have their own boat version sound effects, so they re-use their normal clockwork counterpart’s audio.
  • Unlike Floaty Boaty Knights, Floaty Boaty Bishops and Floaty Boaty Rooks do not have their own flotsam images (the parts of the boat that break off and sink into the water when one of the mobs is killed) in their animation files. While they do have their own flotsam images contained in a .zip file within Hamlet’s files, the images within them are actually just the same ones the Floaty Boaty Knight uses. You’ll still be able to see their head sink into the water though as they go under, just no other parts of the boat sinking with it.
