JSI – DSV Deep Reach II
R/V DEEP REACH II is a Stormworks Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (SOAA)-commissioned dive support vessel that facilitates free and cage diver operations, ROV exploration, submersible transportation and support for deep sea research. It is preinstalled with a modified Jason ROV and 2 separate cranes for loading and deploying of the Nereus submersible and various diving gear and research equipment. The DEEP REACH II is also able to maintain a crew of 4 in its berthing and galley.
Onboard the vessel are the following accommodations for supporting your crew; a dry laboratory, ROV station, medical bay, diver preparation area, refueling pumps, and support for standard ISO container transport. The engine room also has hotel power, required for maintaining power when used in conjunction with the various accessories, ROV, radar, sonar, and submersible.
Boom crane, deck hatch, and ROV release is controlled by the helm on the 2nd deck. The instrument panel next to the diesel cabinet is only for setting the huge winch controls from automatic (ROV) control to manual control. A-frame is controlled with the remote next to it, on the right-hand side if you’re looking towards the stern of the vessel.
EDIT #1: I’ve TEMPORARILY included the Nereus with this until further notice, as I cannot update the Nereus file at the moment.
EDIT #2: Attempted to fix the crane winch not winching in or out. If it persists, detach the cable from the connector and reconnect it. This seems to reset the winch state and allows it to work again. Bilge pump added.
EDIT #3: ROV fixed, bilge pumps replaced. I had not updated to figaro’s newest edits.
EDIT #4: Fixed anchor indicator
