Better Siege
My own mod seeks to spice up sieges and besieges. The arrow towers in vanilla game have been set to have 10 spread, that’s why their shots always end up miles away from acquired targets. I don’t like the idea of having boozers drunker than a Winter Irishman posed as watch tower archers, so I made this mod.
1.Spread for arrow towers has been all decreased to 0 with accuracy boosted to 90.
2.Projectile damage for arrow towers has been shifted from 200 normal damage to 200 AP damage.
3.Boiling oil now deals 200 AP damage instead of 40, 90 accuracy instead of 5, plus a morale hit of 45 making enemy more likely to draw back when untrained.
4.Arrow towers, gates are almost impossible to capture when they are defended.
5.AI’s willingness of frontal assault per fortified places has been slightly increased.
6.All onagers nerffed to have only half ammo, especially merc onagers(they only have one shot), but the accuracy have all been raised to 100(except for merc onagers). Onagers should be specialized in destroying enemy structures rather than raining down bombshells, It’s not Total War Napolean.
7.Hit points and ignition threshold for siege engines have been decreased, while hit points for wall and towers increased. Ha, can you believe it, a light battering ram/siege tower actually has more hit point and tougher to be set on fire than a stone arrow tower, what an engineering miracle is this)
